One of the first issues I noted with the pole position machine was the condition of the screen acrylic and it’s lack of proper artwork. I wanted to address this as a priority, but it has taken a little bit of time to get around to it. This was the state of it when I first picked it up:

After many months of postponing the completion of this project – it finally comes to a close 🙂 Last friday I went to the printers with the bezel artwork and acrylic and then returned yesterday to pick up the final piece of the arcade machine.
I have been working on and off at night after the kids are in bed. Getting in an hour or two here or there is helping things along. The printer completed the screen artwork late last week (just after Easter). So I had a quick drive out to pick it up Saturday morning. I’m really happy with how it has come up. He has laminated it on to the acrylic, so it’s ready to go 🙂
